Why Do My Macros Animations Stop?

If you've imported a macros into your template and it's cutting off the end animation, you've come to the right place.

If you have placed a DaVinci Resolve Macros into your DaVinci Resolve project timeline, and the end animation goes blank, you may be using a Macros that was created using a different frame rate.

While you can use Macros' in different projects with different frame rates, you'll first need to check a box in the Inspector window first, so we can make the Macros compatible with the framerate of our project.

  1. Select your macros from your timeline.

  2. Check the box which is named "Keyframe Stretcher", "ForFastFrameRate" or similarly named box.

  3. Now, try stretching out the macros to extend it, and the end animation should play.

If after trying the above steps, and your Macros is still getting cut-off, you may need to install the fonts, and restart DaVinci Resolve - see here to learn how to install fonts that are linked in Macros and Template downloads, and check out this trouble-shooter here.

After this, if you're still experiencing trouble with the Macros, or if you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact our friendly support team from the chat bubble on our site, or from here. Thank you for choosing Motion Array!
